Synthetic
Biology
Executive produced an animation piece for SynBioBeta — the synthetic biology conference in San Francisco — via Dispatch. What started as a conference opener evolved into a robust graphic package and lead magnet — then expanded into a full branding effort serving multiple biotech and medtech companies across Irvine’s life sciences corridor, specializing in artificial intelligence and medical technology.
Started as a Conference Piece
The original ask was straightforward: produce an animation for SynBioBeta’s synthetic biology conference in San Francisco. The piece needed to translate complex science — gene editing, cellular engineering, programmable biology — into visuals that a cross-disciplinary audience could follow and remember.
From Opener to Brand System
The conference animation performed well enough that it became a lead magnet — repurposed for investor decks, trade show loops, and digital campaigns. That traction turned a single deliverable into a full graphic package: motion templates, visual identity elements, and brand guidelines.
The work then expanded to serve multiple companies in Irvine’s biotech corridor — firms working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medical technology. The animation language built for one conference became the visual backbone for an entire sector’s branding needs.
